I suspect I know the answer to this, but worth a conversation I think.
This weekend will see me drag our 1.6t single axle Coachman wobblebox behind the V8 D3 for the first time.
I am an experienced tower, but never in the D3 - my old 110 made quite hard work of it on windy days.
Should I expect anything less than to have to keep checking the mirrors in case I forget it's there?

Hi, I must admit that I've towed my caravan several times, on very windy days, not through choice I might add, but the cars discos & rrs have coped admirably, & at times not even noticed the wind. The only thing to be aware of is sudden cross winds which can cause a bit if buffeting , but the car soon brings it back in line. Just be aware of which direction the wind is coming from & be aware when you exit a shaded area like a cutting or trees.
You could say "it's a breeze".
Just enjoy. never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly
