hi Bill
that’s weird , which pipe was it please , i recently fitted the longest hose
i did find on that long pipe , i bought a new stainless steel jubilee styled clip for the bottom bit of the hose where it went on the intercooler as it’s oval shaped and was easier than using a T bolt clamp
like u say maybe the silicone hoses u bought was slighter thicker than normal but will of course update this thread if it helps anyone else who may have experienced that issue
would u be so kind to let me know what size clamp u ordered plse

hi
just gone out and rechecked
i’ve got to eat some humble pie and don’t know how but the top t bolt clamp size is 68-73mm
must have wrote them down in the wrong order , i will recheck the other 2 as i’ve already fitted the longer hose
currently got the hose off as i’m trying to get the back nut done up on the new strut
apologies

hi bigbill
rechecked all 6 x clamp sizes
also the bottom clamp for the long hose i used wider stainless steel jubilee clip , as the intercooler connection is oval shaped , size of jubilee clip 50-70mm
