My Turbochiped Disco Blew away a RRS

Was in drag race with a RRS (Diesel) away from lights onto the M25, Blew him away. Knew he was trying as we exchanged looks and he floored it on amber. He had all the bling, 20 inch stormers etc, just made the experience all the more satisfying.

I would say that by 60 I was at least 100 yards ahead, by 90 I could no longer see him in the mirror. Always wanted to know how much faster "back to back" the T/chip was, now I know. GREAT.

Thanks TURBOCHIP, this alone almost makes the £500 worthwhile.

How fast?

Anybody with a turbochiped (or other modded) D3 fancy a side by side sprint to 60?

I ask, because I'm not sure just how good these mods really are. If they prove to be worthwhile, then maybe I can justify the £600 required.

We could do some rolling tests as well.

BTW. I really hope I need to spend some money!!

It has been suggested that I probably have one of the fastest D3s out there, due to the T/C plus the fact that I have only two seats...... Mr. Green

I'm well-up for a 'trial' to see the difference Razz

Not that I've still got a hint of boy racer in me or anything like that....... Whistle

I am in yorkshire and would be more than happy to take part in this test, having had the TC treatment done, not sure if simply a drag race, ie 0-60 is just the way to go though, as I see the greatest improvement mid-range, ie overtaking, motorway blasts from say 50mph etc.
Very Happy
would love to come along though Thumbs Up
