How to turn interior rear centre light off?
All the interior lights come on automatically when I unlock the car, then go out once I’ve started the engine - or come on when I turn the ignition off and then go out once I’ve locked the car - which I like!
I would like if possible though for the rear centre light not to also come on as we are often putting in or getting out very young sleepy kids, or sometimes we leave them in there if they’re still asleep.
Is there anyway around this other than just removing the bulb?

On the Disco 3 you can put all the interior lights off
Press the middle button on the front courtesy light and hold for 3 secs
no interior lights will come on when doors opened.
Hold again for another 3 secs to switch back on.
You can still use the lights when needed by just pressing any of the light switches but must remember to switch it off again.
Might not be any use to you as it switches all lights off and not the back.

Thanks, I went through all that to get it to how it is, I like all the lights coming on automatically but just want if possible to remove the centre rear from the “group”....

Not possible without removing the bulb.

Thanks, I’ll try taking the bulb out today, hopefully the others will still come on automatically, but bulbs can be a bit temperamental can’t they and be part of a ‘citcuit’.

Will be fine, as far as the car is concerned the bulb has blown.

Thanks will give it a go then, I will still have the two bulbs either side of centre that I can turn on and off independently if needed.
My D4 does almost what you want, even though I don't want it to. All three second row bulbs come on at very low brilliance whatever setting is employed.A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. Have just taken the centre bulb out and all the others in the group come on and off as wanted. As mentioned I can always manually turn on the bulbs to the side.

Space Cadet, some put a very dim red LED in the rear centre, gives a tiny glow to help you see but not bright enough to disturb little ones. I've got some knocking around that I'll never use. PM me if you want one FOC.

Thanks mate, it’s actually been fine today with just the centre bulb removed, am happy just to leave it out, thanks for the offer though.
