TV Installation help no picture

Hi All I have fitted the OEM TV and I have plenty of channels and superb sound on them all, but just a white screen, any ideas as to what it could be? have tried swapping over the fakra cables but no joy, there is a possibility the have come out of the back of the head unit but before I pull the dash apart again I just wanted to check it was nothing simple!! Laughing

Try swapping the inner / outer core of the coax ( pin 4 and 5 I think )

Cheers Adrian that's what I thought but I tried that, I will try some newer connectors tom as I think I may have a bad connector. Just out of interest if I get it right does the picture display immediately or do I need to turn off and on again?

Still no joy! I can see a ghost faint image going across the screen and great sound! Adrian do the antennae amps need to be wired in a set combination, i.e brown is front right and left and green is rear right and left? or is green left and brown right?

Hi Mat,
I did this a while ago - trying to remember which way round they go.
Have you used the OEM Antenna cables or did you make some up yourself?
I'll PM you with my mobile no - it probably easier to talk it through.
Good luck
Andrew Thumbs Up

I made them myself out of fakra crimps and r174 cable, hence not knowing the right combi! Wasn't sure if it would make much difference mind!

Hi Matt,
What year is your car - just need to know the location of the tuner.
I have the LR part no's for the correct repair coax cables (up to 2011MY) - the length of the cables dictates the orientation and positioning.
Regards
Andrew

Its a 2011 and the tuner is in the rear OS panel next to Bluetooth and FBH remote.
