Good but limited range, especially if both users are in cars that act as Farraday cages. Found in convoys these (and other PMRs) were getting pretty useless at over 500m. Mind you bobbycrispbox had a monster burner that was tuned to PMR frequencies and we thought it was being received in half of Tunisia. Laughing Laughing

I think one of my PMRs can kick out just under 8w and with an external antenna it's not short of reach.

Usually I operate it at 1w though as that is usually more than enough. Unless someone from OFCOM is on the forum....

Thumbs Up

You might drop it in a puddle ...either outside or in your passenger footwell if you don't keep your drains clean Laughing

I suppose you can use it to get your message across.

I'm happy with my 9mm Glock - less bits to loose and easier to put back together again when boredom strikes.

Thumbs Up
