Typical - -5 degrees out and Webasto fails!

I have one of them Altox controllers to turn on the Websaso heater. It's been fine for months during quite sporadic use. I tried it a few days ago and kept getting these codes on my phone:

Error the heater does not start Technical info: W7,3,6

Webasto diagnostics code: 07,24,02

From their webside:

07 = Heating Unit Locked
24 = Car is almost out of fuel
02 = No start

I have no idea what the W7 is or whether 3 and 6 are valid codes?

Anyway, I pulled fuse 28 for a good few minutes. Replaced it and nothing. Got the same codes. Any ideas?

As a side note, I couldn't pull the fuse by hand so went to get my Leatherman from the house to use the pliers on it to lever out the fuse. When I came back I pulled out the wrong 20A fuse! It came out of either F26 or F24. Which one should it be in? F26 shows a picture of the car with an arrow pointing up so I am assuming that is the air suspension. F24 has a picture of a book and the letter "i" on it.

Yes.

I know. No need for you to tell me.

Think it's fuse 28 lower one of the two 20a fuses in the outer side of the fuse box.

It's at this point I realised the error of my ways.

What app?

Does this only work if I buy a cable, get the app and connect the car to a laptop? If it does then I don't have one.

What else can I try?

It's snowmageddon here.

Think he means the altox app, you can download onto your mobile and control your heater as well as see the faults and clear them.

Just though that you might be texting instead of setting up a internet connection on your altox. In that case you need to pull the fuse for 2-3 mins, put it back in and wait another 2-3 mins and then text “erase” to it, then you should of cleared the fault codes.

Many thanks for the replies. I do have the app but really haven't ventured further than hitting start!

I'll give it a go tomorrow. It's horrible outside at the moment.

Anyone have any thoughts on that other 20A fuse? Should it be in F26 or F24? My guess is F26.

Is it a auto or manual? Thing the fuse below is for a auto, I’ll go check.

Thanks for going to that effort Zinke.

That's how I've put them back. So the other fuse goes into F26 and there's nothing in F24.
