| Tyre inflater, good offer here! |

I have been looking for a tyre inflater that has a high psi capability, mainly due to the pressures required in my motorhome tyres. One that seems highly recomended is the Ring RAC900, it comes complete with compressor, and all attachments in a convenient bag. Please note that this cannot be operated from a 12v socket, it needs to be connected direct to your battery or other suitable power supply.
They range from £72 - £129 + delivery (see second one on amazon site link), but there is one on special offer at Amazon for £60.50 incl free delivery, if you click on the pics you will see it is exactly the same with the coiled hose and pressure guage. They seem well made and quieter than some of the cheap tinny ones that jump about, maybe of interest to someone on here, mine is ordered

I have a few cars and what I like about it is the fact you have a long hose, I have had those jumping about ciggie socket falling out cheapos that get red hot, they take for ages, hop around like crazy and could not cope even with the Defender tyres, never mind the Disco tyres, you would almost have to leave it, go and have a cup of tea and then go back to see if it had raised the pressure. This one seems to be more heavy duty plus it comes in a nice tidy pack.
Funny how the one underneath it on Amazon with the different main pic, is the same but more than double the price  Maybe the yellow hose on show gets people excited

Just had a look at the one TFC was selling, I think this one is smaller and made for heavy duty use unlike that one for light use, so less of a restriction on size and use, reviews look good as well
No doubt the real ViAir 40043 is the dogs danglies, but for heavy domestic use the RAC900 will do me and my wallet just fine

Looks to me as if it comes out of exactly the same factory as the Viair units - very similar!

If you are referring to the other inflater, then no doubt it is a cheap copy made to look like the real thing, hence the warning that it should be used 'lightly', same as the cheapie generators you get that are very similar to Honda's, I have a cheapie (Kipor) one and it does what I need, so all things have a place and use. The real one is a professional type model for industrial use, but you pay for that quality. The one I found and mentioned in my first post is a great heavy domestic model, and top of it's particular range. I missed the sale of the other mentioned and in fact didn't know about it, or may have bought one of those

No, I meant the Ring RAC900 - the compressor, the carry bag and the hose and fittings all look identical to my Viair. It presumably comes from the same Chinese OEM vendor - but that's no bad thing - makes the Ring look even more of a bargain!

The AA use them so let's hope so, and reviews look good. I've a lot of pumping up to do/tyre pressures to check so whoever gets theirs first can give some feedback

Had mine for years , used daily and still going strong. Well worth the money

Mine arrived at 5pm, so no chance to try it out. But on first impressions it looks well made and substantial enough to get my old series 3 tyres up to pressure. Thanks for the heads up on this
