Tyre screecher or something more sinister?

I was driving up the multi storey car park at Gatwick this weekend and I have a bloody awful screeching coming from the inside (nearside) front wheel area whilst on full lock.
Its and hse with standard 19" wheels.
I had her fully realigned two months back and she tracks fine on the straight.
Any ideas before I start doing donuts in the supermarket carpark with my head out the window Whistle

Bump stops need greasing. Look on the inside of the hub and you will see a BIG pimple, this needs greasing and its opposite cup.

Thanks Macleod, just so I understand this, there is a bump stop on the chassis that on full lock contacts with the wheel hub and rubs Question
Is it a standard grease nipple or something LRish Question

The PIMPLE is on the inside of the Hub, behind the Brake Disc so to speak, and it hits the chassis "I THINK". If you grease the pimple and the area it hits the skreech and grind will stop. LR do this too.

Its not a grease nipple, its just a bigish piece of iron that protrudes from the inner hub, looks an afterthought Thumbs Up

It sounds simple enough I'll get the coppercoat out in the morning and start lashing it around behind the discs Wink Whistle

Sure that will suffice, once under the D3 you will see exactly where the Pimple is, and you will see some tell tale marks on the opposite where its bumping. Grease both areas, both sides and noise will go Thumbs Up

Grease this projection, and the V shaped area that it contacts on the hub, front and rear both sides.

The other posibility is a stone trapped in the brake, or between the caliper and the wheel.

I'm not sure the bump stop issue causes screeching does it ? ...I've only ever heard it make a 'crack' type bang sound Confused Never screeching though Question

Well mine was a metal on metal scratching/screeching. I thought of the EPB but re-read the post to read the noise from the front. So assume and hope its the stops. Thumbs Up
