Unknown box in the engine bay
Hello permagrinners,
Who can tell me what the box is in the spare battery compartement. Top left, near the dipstick. It is tied down with a tie wrap and has a serial DB15 connector attached to it. The cable ends somewhere near the engine (tdv6)

Something they didn't messioned when i bought the car a few months ago...
Strangely enough i don't see any marks on the box. Perhaps i should cut the tie wrap to take a look on the other side.
On the front side there is a (red) jumper to select a setting a guess. Curious what these settings are.Traxide SC40

Today i removed the box and checked the other side... nothing to find, no brand, no serial or type number It's also very light, perhaps 50 grams
