Updating Control Units on Discovery 3 using IID-Tool

Hello, I would like to update the control units on my Land Rover Discovery 3 using the IID Tool. Is this advisable and if yes, why? And where can this be done in the IID Tool? Thank you very much. Best regards.

Generally the advice is no.
You may want to update your auto gearbox if you get drive train shunt in traffic.
