Had a upper front arm replaced and now suspension will not g
I’ve recently had an upper front arm replaced due to a bodged ball joint replacement. When I got it back it was showing slightly higher on the front corner that was replaced. I phoned the garage to tell them but they were closing and I was going to Cornwall early the next day. After I returned from holiday I got the garage to “sort” the problem. After picking the car up I drove for 2 miles and the red stability warning light appeared on the dash followed by a message saying all special programs were unavailable.
I attempted to put the thing into access mode, as it was lowering I got an audible ping and the vehicle went into extended mode.
I am now unable to go into access mode and the garage are saying it’s nothing they’ve done. Does anyone have any ideas?
I’m guessing they have no idea what they are doing and I need to see a “proper” garage?

Rrhool and prof you are both correct. The height sensor was stuck/trapped. Don’t ask me how but it’s sorted now!

Wise words. I’ve got an Indy I normally use who is great. Sadly he was booked solid before I went on holiday, so I went to the 2nd option. Never again!
