Upper wishbone removal idea
Hi
After struggling with my drivers side I will have to at some stage get round doing the passenger side and wished to share on an idea which fingers crossed might make life easier for everyone
I’ve come across an air tool which should fit and in theory zip through the bolts with considerable ease
Have got in touch with the sealey and got all the dimensions

Use the std short verson at work all the time, the depth of cut is the limiting factor.
Any grinder with a 1mm slitting disc is a real weapon

Hi
Funny enough tried a standard 4 inch disc and could only get about 1/4 of the way through , did have the guard on though as I didn’t want to remove it , as in the past I’ve already nearly taken my finger off, Twice , when I was cutting up some old 1000 gallon cold water tanks
At least this time will be considerably more setup in what to expect and for the money don’t mind giving one of these ago, as I also know my hand is further away
Indeed ur spot ref the thin discs , used some on the dremel when I cut off the drop links and only took about 10 x mins to zip them off

Hiya mate.
I’ve got one of those. Great for what your suggesting ! Watch the disc bounce though ! I found they tend to jump a bit because the “spinning end” is quite a distance from your hand and with a skinny disc tends to shatter or gouge the disc. Jarrod

Hi mate
Must admit never seen one, but suppose because I’ve not had an air compressor before I’ve never needed to look for air tools
With it also being longer I thought in theory be safer than a shorter grinder, don’t want to make it a third time nearly cutting my left finger off
Also got a soldering Matt that I can place in there to stop sparks from hitting any wires etc as I use it
Will also ensure I buy decent discs , always have , as it would worry me buying some of the cheap Chinese copy discs , don’t fancy having one break up going at 20,000 RPM
As the passenger side wishbone is fine for now will leave it till spring time , let me carrying on with the battery drain and ac leak issue , then change all the oils pre winter
Already checked my antifreeze concentration 50/50%
