Hi,
Does anyone have snowchains that would fit my Discovery 3 (255/55 19inch wheels) that they would be prepared to loan me for the next week starting tomorrow (Monday)?
I can pick up in Lancashire/Cumbria area.
The reason I ask is we, plus friends, have booked a holiday cottage down a very remote road near Ullswater which by all accounts is 'impassable' (in the words of non-4x4 owners) - probably due to ice on the 1 in 3 hill. We plan to do a recce to see the conditions for ourselves but I'd rather go over-prepared but can't find anywhere open to sell chains on bank holiday Monday.
The loan of a set would be gratefully received (and recompensed of course).
