Various faults - then gone - Part 2

Got home yesterday evening parked the car, opened the garage door, wanted started the car again;
- Difficulties to start.
- Cluncky noise when putting in gear
- Message "Transmission faillure". Auto box in safety mode, no 1st gear.
- EPB engaged itself.
- Message "No DHC"
- Message "no special programms"

Tried locking, unlocking, took battery power off. No result. And all of a sudden after an hour or so, after fiddling with the suspension, all warning signs were gone.
Anybody a clue?

No. Checked that. My neck still hurts from bending around the car to see if the brakelights come on when I brake...

Earth fault?
Battery beginning to feel its age?
Loose/damaged connector behind battery box?

Check the connectors on the transfer ECU behind the battery mine had corrosion on them and had most of these faults got it replaced under warranty.

I have one remaining sympton. On ignition the engine has a harder time starting. Where it normally picks up immediately it now takes 1/2 seconds.
Could this also be a result of an ols battery or transfer ECI connectors?

I would think that it would be battery related not to do with the transfer ECU

Sound like battery to me too. Of course, it could be that the poor old car has realised it's about to be abandoned by you ...

SWMBO had her birthday today, had a nice lunch and some "Sinterklaas" shopping next to the stealer. Thought I pop in for a stroll around the showroom and to claim my free Xmas tree they were handing out.
Tried to leave their car park.......... nothing Rolling with laughter
Car wouldn't fire up. Now, if you were to have technical difficulties this is the place you wanna have them!
Turns out that at least the ERG valves have given up.
The feeling of being lucky surpressed the feeling that it's gonna cost me my Xmas bonus.
