| Vehicle inspection in Morden, Surrey - ideas? |

Hi all,
Bit of a cheeky one....
I’m looking to buy a Disco 4 which is based in Morden, Surrey. The thing is, it’s a 500 mile round trip for me. I don’t mind travelling that far to buy the vehicle I want but don’t want to have to make two trips, or even a wasted trip to see something that is below par.
Are there any friendly forum members that might be passing that area and would be able to look at the vehicle for me, or recommend any specialists in the area who could look at it?
Any thoughts welcome

I am going to be working in Staines one day over the next week, but can't confirm exactly what day yet. Its feasible that I could have a look.

That would be amazing if you could. What I need really is for someone who knows what they’re doing to give me an idea whether it’s nice and straight and looks like it’s been cared for.
You can’t really get that from pictures alone.
There’s a 6 month warranty with it so anything that’s going to break / fall off should do in that time!

Send me a pm with the details. The job I have to do is weather dependant, so I'll need to make arrangements with them directly once I know what day I am heading down there. No guarantee though of course as I am at the mercy of other events and people. There is also a possibility that I might have co-workers with me which would mean I can't do it.
Sorry to be vague at this stage, but it's the best I can offer. I will keep you posted.
I will be visitng several times in the new year, but don't know if that will be too late?

Hi there,
It’s a dealer. I might have mentioned it before but what I need really is someone to cast their eye over it and see if it’s worth a closer look. It’s hard to tell from pictures whether it’s a good one or not. I don’t want to get there to find it’s covered in car park rash with dinged alloys
If you can do that I’d really appreciate it. I’ll PM the link to you?

Absolutely no problem with you doing it buddy. I am actually in Milton Keynes, but working in Staines for a few hours at some point tomorrow now. There are potential issues for me around that but I was hopeful I could fit the visit in for a fellow member on here. Nothing is certain for me though as I have hurt my back and therefore delayed my job by 24hrs.
