Rear Work Light Ideas

Has anyone come up with any ingenious ways to mount a rear Work Light that can be used effectively with boot door open or closed?

Pictures would be good if anyone has managed it.

Hmm dunno think reverse lights might be bit low.

Admittedly I was bit lazy with this thread. I searched the forum after posting!

I've seen an idea I fancy now. Recessed led lights in the interior door trim look really smart and a work lamp on ladder for exterior. Both switched, the exterior one from the front and interior from boot area.

I have mine on a bracket on the roof rail, can be swivelled round. Not sure it’s what your looking for. Works from a switch on one of the panels in the boot. The panel has fused switches & 12v sockets from an AUX battery.

This is what I'd do, just get a large LED floodlamp on a magmount and plug it in when required.

It was actually an RLD CB Antenna mount but you could easily make one up with a couple of flat 20/30 mm pieces of aluminium. One slotted in the rail with a nut & bolt Thumbs Up

I was looking for more of an external light. I have already added better internal lights.

I was thinking of adding a light to the top tailgate (inside) so that it can shine down when the tailgate is open. Either an LED work-light or a rechargeable torch in a holder. Something to help hitching a trailer in the dark or working under cover of the tailgate when open.

I’m using an angled Labcraft light on my dog guard for additional internal, rear work light mounted on a customised Prospeed Ladder.
Neither of which will suit the OP but just thought i ‘d mention
