Warm air con

Had my air con looked at last summer and after a process of elimination had the compressor swapped out and the rear pipes bypassed so was front only, worked really well so was pleased, tried it over the weekend and it’s now not cold again, it’s full of gas (had it checked you Halfords as was going to get them to refill it) but him no worky 😱 don’t know where to start now🤬🤬🤬

Hi, I took mine to kwick fit last year for a regas and they said it was empty, but filled it up and the pressure test was fine, but two weeks later it wasn’t blowing cold, so I bought an stp easy chill thingy from Halfords and topped it up myself. I found that just because they say it’s up to pressure on gas it wasn’t enough to make cold air. Topped mine up a bit the other day, and is working great.

Mine wasn't working last year so all things being equal I changed the condenser. I found a hole in the return or feed pipe. (centre of the picture)

Used it yesterday and it was still lovely and cold.
