I know I am probably going to come in for some stick with this one but have to ask.
Its her D3 so I dont get to drive it much.
Last nite decicded I had to go out as we had snow.
When driving a light on the dash came on. I have no idea what this is
Is the one Marked "P" in between the DSC and the Hazards.
I asked her if this had happened before and was told "occassionally but I just presss it and it goes".
I have looked through the manual and cannot see all about it.
I think its the Interior alarm but not sure. If it is why should it illuminate when driving?

This is the button/light for the parking sensors (PDC).
It will probably come on when you drop below 10km/h (or something like that) or maybe once you have stopped the D3 and selected reverse (this will depend on which software you have in the PDC module).
Either way it should go out once you start moving.
Pushing the button will cancel the light as it turns the PDC sensors off until you either press it again or cycle the ignition.
Hope this helps (and don't worry - it isn't a warning light) 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

I've just checked and it is in the user manual
In the Driving and Operating section - page 155 in the pdf version that I've got....
If you can't find it, PM me your e-mail address and I'll send it to you.
Cheers,
