Water ingress on rear window.

Every now and again I get water ingress in various places along the top of the rear glass. It comes in where the glass meets the plastic trim. It seems to occur more, when I am parked facing down a slope. I park in the same place everyday in work, and dont think I have had a problem there until yesterday.

I try and make a habit of lowering the suspension every time I park somewhere. Mainly as SWMBO is a little shorter than me. Every now and again, the front drops, then a suspension error occurs, and the back is in extended mode. This happened yesterday, and I noticed the water streaks on the back window after putting the wiper on.

Has anyone had this problem. Will try and take the plastic trim off over Xmas period to see if there is anything obvious.

Thanks in advance.

Interesting. I have the same issue intermittently. Sometimes can be forced through using the wash wipe but other times nothing.

I shall await comments with interest

Guys,

A little late, but I had the same problem on my vehicle. Turns out there is typically a hair line crack/leak in the top rear brake light that allows water in.

Had my replaced and all good again.
