low temp or low battery warning?

never had a low temperature warning on the sat nav screen.

if it is low temp I'm lost but low battery detected will shut down none essential electrical items so there must be a problem with charge or a dodgy sensor.

As Dave says I have never seen a low temp warning on the sat nav screen, on my MY2011 D4 I used to regularly get the low battery voltage warning. I seem to remember it was something to do with the battery monitor and there was a fix for it Thumbs Up

Ok, a long shot, but...

Could be a problem with the ambient temp sensor, which not only senses the temp for display, but also to adjust the battery charging current, which in turn could mean too low a current and then the non-critical systems get switched off to save power.
