Saying hello yes its late but research on a new car never en
Just wanted to say hi, HI !
I'm up late looking at d3s but am thinking d4 now, I come from the landyzone site where we have a few d3 owners and even fewer d4. Currently running a p38 and d2 and do all my own work on both. The wife runs the d2 as the family run about but its time to treat her to something newer. Hope to get some good advise from all on here.

Evenin' ...
Just joined the forum and thought I'd better say "Hello".
Recently bought a 2006 Disco 3 in black. Liking it so far.
I also run a Nissan Elgrand Highway Star, and a Harley Davidson Electro Glide trike.

Newbie!
Just want to say hello to everyone!
After many defenders I am now rolling in an LR3, already spent a lot of time on it and have started building it up.
I am from Poole, Dorset but live in Florida so parts are a bit harder to get hold of but overall very happy!

Hi Martin,
I've been following this site for about 4 years, found it when googling forums for Land Rover when I got the Freelander 2, and have found the amount of knowledge and info on here amazing.
Wanted a Disco then, but the £500 ish road tax put me toward the FL2 instead.
When the New Discovery came out, instantly disliked it !! (what idiot designed the back end, with the number plate not fitting the space made for it ??)
Decided that I wanted one of the last PROPER Discos. Sales rep didn't seem over chuffed when I said "it would probably outlive me, such is my faith in the brand".

I'm new around here
Hi all, new to the forum but owned my Disco 3 since it came out of the factory in 2007 so not so new to the car. Have done a few bits of (simple) maintenance on it myself over the years but wanting to do more so figured I'd come hang out with the experts so you can tell me when I'm being an idiot.

Hi All,
Here's my introduction. Owned Disco 3 for just over two years, been broke since but love the truck. Transmission ECU fire which was sorted by local specialist. I've read many threads looking for advice in that time. Done front lower bushes, rear upper arms, adjusted handbrake, pads, discs, egr valve blanking plates. Great site. Cheers, Tom

Hi there,
Had a Disco 3 for 10 years and recently upgraded to a Disco 4 (2010 with 25k on the clock).
Used to use the disco3 forum and saved me a fortune in advice and fixes.
Hoping this forum will do the same over time.

Hi
Hi, looking for a D3 at the moment, seen TOO many, but hopefully the one I'm seeing tomorrow will be the one. Been a D2 owner for some years, plus a series owner, still rebuilding one actually. Will be asking for advice no doubt.

Hi
Joe here,
Recently luck enough to be the purchaser of 2 LR's
1999 Defender 90 TD5
2015 Discovery 4 HSE
1 toy and 1 family car.
Used to have a freelander 1 a few years ago.
Looking forward to doing a few things with the D4 but tbh am scared of doing anything at the moment as its too new and computer controlled, and im worried ill mess something up. lol.
