I'm a retired English ex-pat now living in Tableview, Cape Town. I recently sold my 1994 Mitsubishi Pajero swb 2.8 td (I like to get my money's worth!). She was fully set up for off roading here (sand not mud).
I've now purchased the Disco 3, despite the warnings from the locals! The handbrake jammed on as I drove it home and that's how I found this site - boy have you been of help to me.
I'm looking forward to setting up the Disco for real all terrain driving here - Toyota appears to have the off-road market sewn up, but I think I might even try and change that!

I’m a relatively new D4 owner, been a Land Rover enthusiast ever since I was a kid and finally have bought my own.
I live in devon and use the D4 just for weekends and holidays, hoping to get to the alps this year to test it in the snow.
Can’t think of much else, will be in touch!

Good Afternoon from New D3 Member
Hello Everyone,
My first post on here having just acquired a 2007 D3 a few days ago. I've always wanted a Discovery but always put it off for the Landy reliability rep. Regardless, I've finally taken the plunge and so far so good *touching wood*.
Having a look around, clearly a wealth of information which is great. Always nice to know there's forum's like this to back you up when things go wrong / DIY'ing or if you want to start 'tweaking' the car.
Anyway, this one is a 2007, 100500 miles
Plenty of history with the following mods;
Heavy duty air bags
Bilstein internals
Polybushed all round
V8 Brake upgrade
Landy snorkle
I've also just fitted some Grabber At3's which I must report are fantastic on and off road.
Interested to know if anyone knows the history of this as clearly owned by an enthusiast.
Also, can someone tell me the name of the colour? I have no idea
