IID BT does almost everything except make a brew whilst you're using it, highly recommended by many on here.
High-flow air filter … I was going to do that but advised not to bother by Flack on here, who has done my last couple of services. Noisy and no improvement if I remember rightly..

Hello I'm not sure if I'm on the correct page to introduce myself but I will anyway.
I have joined this forum because I will be purchasing either a D3 or a D4 in the not too distant future and I need to do as much research as possible to try to dispel some of the myths and negative info I have read about the D3 or 4.
Currently I am the proud owner of a 1997 D1 300TDI which I absolutely love however I crave something a bit faster and more comfortable due to being 63 years of age.
I am a male truck driver and I live in the West Country.
So Happy New Year to all of you

Welcome also
I don’t think there are that bad (hope I’m not proved wrong) but I’m hoping the benefits outweigh the negatives2005 D3 SE Auto, zermatt silver
Gearbox flush by terrain vehicles
V8 brake upgrade
Will always ask silly questions

Hello from a new Disco 3 owner! Any tips gratefully received
Hi
Just bought a 2009 (May) Disco 3 HSE 2.7 TDV6 with 85,000 miles . I pick it up on Wednesday night. Never owned a Landy before although my Dad had a 101, a lightweight and a safari in the 70's.
I am totally green when it comes to car mechanics having always had Audi's and BMW's
Any tips or general thoughts when I first get it? Ive read through the forum and am a bit panicky about all the problems

ensuring that belts have been changed; also search the forum for "Oil Pump" - my view is that if it hasn't been changed it should be, a fresh oil pump will enhance engine life, even if you are replacing an updated pump.
You haven't completed your profile, please do. If auto I would change the oil in the "sealed for life" gearbox.
Good luck.

Or strip it.
Nowt wrong with a Jazz, cheap as chips motoring, suits what I need perfectly. Only thing I miss is cruise control.
