I have a 2009 Disco3 2.7TDV6. Bought it in South Africa and drove it 5000kms to Kenya back in 2016 and I have loved the ride since then!

Hi guys I've just got myself a 2005 d3 hse
It's been 10 years since I last owned a land rover so look forward to this forum
I actually work at land rover(solihull) so thought I get myself another car
The car I bought does have a few little problems so the use of this forum will come in handy

The one on mine has been disconnected and I've found a GSM box hidden inside the battery box that looks liked its wired to the fbh

Hi All
I've been lurking here since late 2008, when I had a 58 plate D3 commercial for work.
Have had a few LR/RR and now have a 2013 D4 XS which replaced my trusty 2005 Volvo XC70 as my tow car, a shame the caravan got nicked during the bank holiday weekend....... Now don't need a tow car as I have a 12m coach I'm converting to a motorhome.
The D4 is surplus to requirements but will be remaining part of the fleet.

After driving defender 110 for many years, evoque since last year, and now happy that I added a discovery 3 to my collection. I got to know the car better and fix some thing for our plan to go to North Cape 2022!

Thanks for letting me join. I live in West Virginia in the mountains. I have owned a LR3 for 16 years and currently have 208K miles. I do most of the maintenance on my vehicle and have had some of the typical problems on it. I found out about this forum from the Gap diagnostic web side as I have a BT version that has been very valuable.

I've finally managed to join you as a Disco owner
Just collected my 62 plate, HSE, imported form Ireland when it was about year old.
Bronze with sand interior, but with dark brown seats. (I'm sure someone will correct me, but I've never seen another with this interior)

Newbie Alert
Hi all I have come here to pick some brains and gather some info . I am having a problem with the nearside front window on my 2005 Disco 3 it randomly opens on it's own and stays there for about a min before it allows me to shut it. If I unplug the switch it stays shut. I have checked the switches function with a multimeter and it seems to be switching as it should so I am trying to narrow down whether my fault is with something before the switch like the driver's switch pack or something inside the door. Does anyone have any ideas or perhaps a circuit diagram for the windows.

Hi all. I am a glutton for punishment. I have a 2006 D3 and a 2011 D4. I feel all members should be aware of the jealousy their beloved Discos feel when a sibling is getting workshop attention. The effect is very prominant and normally manifests in some new issue arriving generally a week after the sibling has emerged from said workshop....

Introduction Discovery 3 2007 4.4 V8
Hi all,
Here a short message from the Netherlands, for a first introduction. I recently bought a V8 4.4. Discovery, with only 165.000 km's on the odometer . Used to own the Diesel version, however the older Diesels are less and less allowed in more and more European cities. Going to do an LR3 to LR4 upgrade on the car and have some questions and issues I would like to share in the specific topic areas. Any suggestions always welcome, do's dont's and more. Appreciate your help and answers and already learned only by reading the different topics.
