I removed my wing, made the exit hole larger, and found it was the rubber right angle that had rotted, so I managed to get a piece of old fuel line pushed on, and let that dangle out of the hole. No wet floor since, did it a couple of years ago. I'm near jct 11 m4 if you want a hand.

I think mine might have a few problems as when I poured water in it the other day it started dripping from about glove box height down the side of the a pillar so possibly separated or split inside somewhere as well as being blocked. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not poked out of the wing properly either. Figure it makes sense to replace it all. I’m a bit time poor on the run up to Xmas but it’s like a pond!

It's not hard at all. Drop the headlining that side, remove the glove box (actually I removed both).

The cjb is fiddly but not hard. It's actually easier with the front seat out too if your not bendy like me.

The a pillar trim and other bits of dashboard all come off easily.

Is there a decent write up/step by step anywhere? Lots of threads but less collated.

I did find one, but I'll be damned if I can find it now. There is one in here somewhere.

Help!

Happy new year everyone! Muffins has decided to do the sunroof drain this morning. Gone alright-ish so far but I’m stuck on getting the cjb back in - I can’t get the rest green plug (first I’ve tried tbh) on - just can’t seem to get it orientated right or close enough to get it in the hole!

Any suggestions? Anything else I can take off to gain more space?

Have to say, it’s crazy tight but I guess we know that already!

Thanks in advance

Oh my god what a pain to do. Finally got it all back together and it still works!

Only problem I have is that the retaining clip/lever from the green plug on the rear of the cjb came off! (Thought they were metal tbh) - looks like it’s locked in place as I couldn’t remove it. Is this something that can just clip back on if I can get my tiny shredded child hands up there or is it a take it all apart, remove cjb and replace the plug - I’m assuming they slide apart to free the pins so could be replaced?

For now though, road test says it’s okay and I’ve warned the wife lol

I gave my local indi the write up off here and the drain tube, he charged me £30 which I though was a bargain for the amount of faffing about.

I asked him how he got on, he said it was a Censored pain! Rolling with laughter
