D4 20" tyre pressures/TPMS question

Had a low pressure warning for the spare for my folks MY16 Landmark, dropped the spare and put it up to 45psi, up from 30 psi. Started the car up and still had the warning. Do i need to do anything to reset the sensor?

Also when I checked the other 4 wheels the rears were up at 48 rears and fronts 40. The door sticker says 36R and 33F, left them at 40R & 36F. Any reason why they would be so high or just the Stratstones technician being a bit ham fisted with the airline?

TIA

D

I'd suggest checking that the TPMS is on "high setting". Mine is and I run c. 36F & 40R

The LR TPMS does seem to have a mind of it's own though!

second point first - yes looks way to high.

When my spare was showing low I took it up to 40 and it still showed low until I took it higher. I had to drive it a short way for the system to pick up the change in pressure (like you do with the tyres on the road)

TPMS is set on light setting. It obviously doesn't do anything for waaaaaaaaaay over inflated. Shocked
