What's going on here then?

SWMBO was on the school run this afternoon when the bonging started and the car was telling her the passenger seatbelt wasn't fastened (nothing on the seat, handbag on floor, she says). Bonging stopped after a mile. After a couple more miles, bonging started again, a warning symbol (for suspension?) came on, temperature gauge shot up to maximum and then slowly came down, she went over a pothole and the car was bouncing like a trampoline. Must have been quite a bit cos our toddler was shouting "whee, bouncy bouncy!"

She pulled over and rang me, told her to switch off then on again. Bonging stopped but she says the car felt strange until after it had been parked outside school for ten minutes. She said it felt fine on the way home.

Anyone any ideas what's occurred? Car's still under warranty, should I get this fault checked out?

Very Happy Rimini Red
