Not a fan of concealed mixers.
Anyway, wasn't silicone invented to stuff anywhere and everywhere to hide anything and everything..... beats finding newspapers from the 70's and 80's. Hmmm maybe not, did enjoy reading what was happening then.
In one Victorian renovation, i did find newspaers from the 1930's.

When we were renovating our house I found a ‘health’ magazine from the very early 1930’s neatly tucked away under a floorboard - I assume it was the late night entertainment of the lad who occupied the room at that time.
(And no, before anybody comments, the pages weren’t stuck together)Now Golf GTI PP, 7 speed DSG.

The total trumpet who has fronted an insurance policy for their van in my name. And taken out a finance agreement to pay the premium, that they have then defaulted on.
We can add the insurer and the finance company to the list for ignoring the marker on my Experian file. The marker put there precisely because of a previous attempt to do this.
They've all well and truly got my goat.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
websites that offer "free" clipart until you try to download it, when it's suddenly not "free" anymore.

Times are difficult for ‘small traders’ so, in an attempt to support a business rather than Amazon (who were marginally cheaper) I placed an order on 20th August. Payment made then nothing. Allowing for Covid-19 related staff difficulties, left it for over a week before enquiring about progress and possible date of delivery because of my duties as carer requiring me to be out. Got a brief, 4 word response in reply “Be mid next week”. Mid next week came and went so asked how it was sent (Post office or courier). One sentence reply stating courier and that Monday was a Bank Holiday. Still no sign, so today politely enquired as to tracking number or any update and got “Will look it up when I’m in”. No mention of WHEN he’s going in or even any form of engagement or apology. Customer engagement non existent and one liners don’t count as any form of decent service.
Had I gone to Amazon I would have been informed of the status of my order and when it would be delivered and small businesses wonder why folk are going elsewhere!

People trying to enter an new Lidl store which is currently in the process of being finished and has a big sign up saying opening on the 10th September.
I thought one woman was going to take a trolley but was looking somewhat baffled by the barrier across the entrance and the workman inside.

I see the M602 "between junctions 1 and 3" (which is all of it, so why pretend otherwise ?) is to be part of the trial.
It doesn't currently have speed cameras so it's not enforceable.
and it has only 2 "modes" ... as-fast-as-you-like and parked.
for about 3 hours on a morning, the Salford end is a slow moving carpark as traffic causes a bottle-neck at the roundabout, queueing a mile back up the motorway.
and in the afternoon, it's a carpark for cars attempting to join the clock-wise M60 at Eccles.
Pollution levels would be better dealt with by improving traffic flow rather than "slowing it down to 60" ... when it's doing sub-5mph anyway.

You can’t just leave us like that. Positive, negative or 51%?
Argyll and Bute covers an enormous part of Scotland and has only two A road routes into it - the A83 and the A82/A85. The A83 runs through a glacially over-steepened valley which, for the past 20 years or so, the govt have been taking a 'sticking plaster' type approach to fixing, playing with the lives and livelihoods of those of us who live to the west of the pass. Why oh why are they unable to recognise that this is a 'capital expenditure' problem rather than funding temporary repairs through 'revenue budgets'?
It is no wonder our annual mileage is so high given the c. 60 mile length of the diversion Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE and 2013 MY D4 HSE
