Force is the product of the mass and the acceleration experienced by that mass. Without either there is no force. Thus one can say the mass Y experienced an acceleration of Xg or that the mass Y experienced a force of YX N. One can say that it experienced a force as a result of an acceleration of Xg. But not that it received a force of Xg.
Newton would be spinning in his grave.

I quick Google™ doesn't show any sign of anyone querying this with @AskDyson, etc. Perhaps they suppress the people who do?

Spent the day 'engaging' with both Vodafone and then BT over various 'phone issues, then opened up this advert in my inbox.
How can they say 'at no extra cost' when the next line says 'for just £5 extra a month'?!!!
This is symptomatic of the numerous conversations I have had today - they are only capable of reading from their prepared corporate script, and no one is able to make a decision or act on their own initiative.

20% VAT has been removed by the government on digital publications. I have asked all my subscription providers if this means prices will be reduced (and not expecting 20%). Am awaiting replies from a couple but one didn't answer directly but stated the 'freed up revenue will be absorbed in making the publication better' (with useless cr@p I don't want/need).
I'm not sure the government intended that as an outcome when they cut the VAT

Not an outright scam but I have been 'duped'.......
Had reminder I hadn't taxed or SORN'd my 'bike so got onto it straight away. Put in their website details and the 16 digit code, etc. and taken to a Google page and clicked on teh top link as I 'expected to'.
All looking 'normal' and going through, confirmed vehicle by reg' number, all same as DVLA site and selected 12 months, etc. Put my card details in and clicked 'next' and then it asked me to create an account with a password and I thought "hang on". Exit'ed the site and back-paged to the Google site and the correct DVLA site is the second link.......
Went to my bank account and £0.50 taken (back on web and this is for '24 hours access to the database' and then '£5.95/month thereafter'.
Two days on and £5.95 sat in my pending payments box on bank account from the company. Rang bank and they were fine but won't do anything until moved from pending to paid. Said I'd contacted the site and no reply.
Since then I've been back onto the site, again contacted them, and also tried to 'log in' but as I halted the process before completing it, as expected, says I don't have an account with them.
Reckon I'm trapped in a cycle now every month if bank won't halt it when I call back.
Same if you try and renew a eh111 card ... Google search puts the sheisters above the real one.
Google could, of course, fix it. But then they'd lose revenue, so don't hold your breath..

Trying to get hold of Hermes to find out why they haven't delivered my parcel despite it being "out for delivery" on Wednesday, then get the message "there's been a delay with your parcel" then it goes back to "we've received your parcel" ..
This gets repeated twice a day until today when it gets delivered despite the tracking saying "there's been a slight delay".... not even "out for delivery"
And all this from a company that deliberately hides there contact information and won't speak to customers directly... oh one final thing ALL the numbers on their website are incorrect.. I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!
