took me and a mate 1hour 45 mins on the drive to do the front n/s one
so any longer than that with all the right kit and they are taking the Survived the 2014 PotNoodle Challenge!

Just paid as I want the car back..........
2.5 hours book price for the job (rear hub apparently) and 1 hour extra labour to free off bolts and release jammed handbrake shoes!!!!!
not happy............ end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

correct time for rear hub/bearing is 2.3 plus the 0.2 LR allow for drive in drive out TLO has left the building.......

Book time is 2.4 hrs, extra time is allowed for siezed parts.
The back is a different kettle of fish to the front, (which is just bolt on/off).
Difficult without the special tools.

Oh Ok, thanks Nick and Steve ( I assume you aren't million miles apart )
That makes me feel better......why don't LR just up the times, the bits are ALWAYS seized on (not sure about the brake shoes though, am I suddenly going to get a vast improvement in fuel consumption? )
I was in fact charged book then....they did mention the test drive bit.....the garage neighbours must have loved that, the noise made the EPB screamer seem almost silent
I'll probably feel better still after a glass of wine this evening......I have been surfing the web looking at D4's, that is how annoyed I was.... end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......
