Get 19inch wheels or 55profile tyres
When (if) i get my disco! i need to do something with the tyres as the perfect pirelles at not the AT tyres i feel i need!
Its got 20 inch rims - so whats best (cost is obviously better keeping the same wheels), keeping the 20's but getting 255/55 AT's or getting a complete set of wheels to get me into the 19inch AT segment?Mike

I went with a 55 profile in 20's.
Remember you will need to change 5 tyres though. Also about biggest size you can go without problems fitting your spare wheel in the usual palce
I managed to pick up brand new 55 profile for free so was cheapest cost option for me.
Will also depend on costs if you require TPMS valves, about £25 a wheel so £125 if replacing with 5 19 wheels that are not fitted with them.
Tyres I fitted were Cooper Weathermaster and so far have been very pleased with. I would say quieter than Pirrellis and a softer ride due to bigger sidewalll, also puts kerbs a bit more out of reach. MPG not effected, in fact the only downside I have found is that they seem to throw a lot more crap / mud up the side of the car, comnpared to the Pirrellis.
Obviously might be so suited in the hotter weather but will see what they behave like then before making decisionD4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST

Thanks for that
Did it put the speedo out did you notice?
I was tempted to go with Goodyear Duratech on the 20's...255/55 R20
I had forgotten about Tyre Pressure Sensors! good pointMike

Real speed on gps phone still reads lower than that on car speedo, if it is out from standard setup then not by much, was expecting more
One other thing is to remember you will be slightly higher, so double check those low height carparks
If going with 19's standard size you could always use the 20 inch wheel as a spare as same ratio saves a sensor, wheel and tyre.D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST
