Painting the disc bell?

Picked up the old girl from having the alloys refinished in dark anthracite. Great job but now it shows the disc bells in a poor light as the spotty zinc now catches the eye through the darker wheels.
Does everyone who fits dark or black wheels repaint the bells also?

I had exactly the same issues a few weeks back.
Had fitted new discs & pads all round in June.
Got my wheels powder-coated black around 6 weeks ago and the discs hubs stood out and looked awful.
So whipped each wheel off and painted the disc hubs black.
I assume it now looks fine as it doesn't stand out anymore.
Thumbs Up

nice one Wink That's what I want to hear. Pity though I didn't think of it in advance instead of having to remove the wheels again Sad Doh...

Yep, that was exactly the thought going through my head Rolling Eyes

No doubt though for me, removing and fitting all the discs was a big enough job in itself, that I didn't want to add more work to it ......... but it ended up giving me more work at this later date. Confused
