I ordered from your link as well Tawny, bit disappointing, surprised they came from Bulgaria as well although explains how long they took! Have now ordered from DDs link and may use the others inside.
On the plus side, I was surprised at how easilyy the headlamps came off with a bit of wire coat hanger and an adjustable though it to pull up the sliders.
Now then, what about tail lamp and tail/stop lamp LEDs, who has some decent ones?

I have just ordered the following from autobulbsdirect.co.uk:
http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/501-LED-S...-pair.html
These are similar to the ones in the ebay link from DickyDisco. That seller only shipped to the UK unfortunately and autobulbsdirect ship everywhere in EU. Awaiting delivery and eager to install. Will inform you of the verdict...
Also ordered their ABD Xenon Extreme White H8 bulbs (http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/H8-12V-35...-pair.html) to -hopefully- upgrade the static cornering lights from the current yellowish halogen to a more appropriate white. To match the Xenon headlights. This seems to be one of the few options for the H8 bulbs, apart from PIAA (off-road and expensive...). Didn't want to go for H8 LED replacements yet (i.e. http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/H8-LED-Foglight-Bulb-NEW.html) since I feel that these will not produce enough light to illuminate a big enough area. Has anyone tried these yet?
Keep you posted, regards,

New LEDs arrived today, what a pile of Sh*t. One blew within about 5 seconds of putting it in the other didn't
work at all! The one that did come on didn't look that good anyway. Will look at Alan's on Sunday and work from there I think, remind me won't you Alan Joined the BMWX5 45e group

Got mine today and yep !!!
They work ok but again , they give off a blue effect against the H7's so thats it for me now.
Either staying with the standard 501's or may have to upgrade to xenons

Had a look at Alan Gs LEDs today, they are a whole lot better than anything I have previously bought. They are the ones with multiple light sources rather than the single point of light. Thery do use the reflector a lot more than the others do as well, now where is his link .......... Joined the BMWX5 45e group
