I got 4 new 18" Goodyear wranglers from www.justtyres.com branch in Stourbridge. They have 37 branches nationwide for £504 fitted etc.
£126 each by my calculation! I just rang up the local fitter and that was the price he did them for without any arm twisting! Told me he still made £100 on the 4 anyways!

Wow, that's a fantastic price Paul I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

I've just run a quote with Just Tyres and the Goodyears are now £151 each fitted.....which is still a good price - Pirellis didn't come up as an option
I could always ring my local branch and ask them though...... thanks for the info PaulMercedes SLK 280

Before you spend out on some scorpians. They wear out faster than your fuel gauge goes down. .
Mine are shot or as close as with 12k on the clock. Save your pennies and get a set of AT2'sHONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE

Melanie , check your PMs , quick or you'll miss them.
One bit of information you haven't mentioned but might be relevant is how much tread the rest of the tyres have, if you put tyres with say 4mm and 9mm on the same axle (I know the D3 does not have axles before anyone gets clever ) then i think i have read that you can get the DSC kicking up some faults
I also thought it may cause a problem with mismatched tyres on 1 axle, but today I had to use my 17" spare with Wrangler on the opposite side to a 19" with Scorpion, and had no problems at all, even at motorway speeds. So it doesn't seem to matter too much if there's a slight difference in overall circumference.Previously:

I went on kwik fit online - which quoted 4 wranglers 112 V rated for the price of 3, then phoned local kwik fit to book it in and the manager offered a better deal. Got 4 V rated Goodyears for just over £125 each tyre. Avoid KHUMOS as thats what I had on and the handling was abysmal on corners etc, chucked them away with over 5mm on each one. Done over 10K on the wranglers used just over 1mm.

Don't do it on line, call your local depot and they always do a better price than their online quote system

I agree but its a good starting point as you know you aint gonna pay any more than that and the local dealer knows youve done ya homework before calling.

In terms of tyres front/back/left/right handbook has advice on this. From memory they recommend all 4 are changed at once, but you can change one "axel"s worth if you need to and that's ok.
We are a few mm from needing 4, local tyre place quoted ~150 ea for the scorpions as I recall. Seem to wear quick, the Vredstrein Wintrac's are worth a look as well, technically a winter tyre but with our climate... getting good reviews on here from people running them all year.
Your part worn Scorpions might go for a bit on the sale section as well?
