Ended up using the longer A27-M23-M25-M3-A303 route to the A30.

Took us 6hr 45 with about an hour stopped for fuel / coffee etc. It was quite a pleasant drive once we got onto the A303. A little slow around Stonehenge but apart from that it was clear roads and fantastic scenery.

Now pitched up, belly full of St Mawes fish and chips, glass full of red, dogs walked.

Cheers 🍷

It lovely. Seems pretty quiet. Nothing like the last time we were here, when we could move, such a popular place.

Stunning part of the world....very jealous....spent most of my childhood down there... Portloe, Portholland, Portscatho, KHF etc....
My aunt and uncle loved it so much they bought a big farm 35 years ago at Polhendra just on the outskirts of St Mawes... love the chance to get down there and see them!

Spent many many happy days on the peninsula...
The coast road from Portscatho - Caerhays- Veryan- Gorman- Mevagissey down the old road is one you must do.... the Aquarium on the harbour was always one of the things our dad dragged us in....

Very jealous! Enjoy! Very Happy
