So having activated tow assist with my IID, both front windows don't have the 'auto up' function anymore! Any ideas?

Have you tried resetting them again?
(I think it's manually raise them to the top, let go of the button, and then immediately hold the button up for a further 3 seconds - you should hear a small click when it's set) 2005 D3 HSE

so that means on a D4 & a D3 tow assist can be disabled ?
Tangle wood enabled his....why was it off ?
why would you want to do this ?
as it works only when it needs to & doesn't affect anything else..or does it ? BREXIT - done properly.
