Twisty country lane, overhanging 4" thick branch from a fallen tree that wasn't visible until I was almost on it, car coming t'other way, brake and pull out to the right as far as could, wasn't quite enough unfortunately, reckon I hit it at about 40mph. Must have fallen very recently as there wasn't much debris on the road from previous 'hits', just glad it wasn't 6" lower
Kinda topped the evening off after spending 2hrs on the M25 driving from J10 to J9 The End
