Win 2 tickets to Knockhill - 4th June
Hi guys
Opie Oils have a pair of tickets to Knockhill Racing Circuit up for grabs, so if you and a guest fancy spending the day watching the Super Touring Car Event, then you may be in luck!
To be in with a chance of winning these tickets, all you have to do is drop us a PM titled Super Touring. In the message, please include your full name, the name of your guest, your address, telephone number and email address - this will make sure that we can get in touch with you as quickly as possible after the winner has been selected.
Please only apply if you are able to attend on Sunday 4th June, as it would be a shame for the tickets to go to waste
Should you be the lucky winner of these tickets, your guest and yourself will meet a member of the David Sleigh Race Team at the gates at 10:30AM on Sunday 4th June. They will then provide you with your passes and bring you accross to their race awning, skipping the waiting lines. Here, you can meet this awesome racing team, hang out for the day and have some lunch whilst watching one of the best events of the season. The return of the iconic Super Touring thoroughbreds proved a great hit in 2016, and it will be even more special this year with Touring cars from the 80s and 90s head lining the grid. The thunderous Group A Sierras and of course the 2 litre BTCC cars from 92 onwards will also be there. All in all, it's going to be a pretty action packed day!

Not long in from a great day out at Knockhill
Firstly a big thank you to Opie Oils for the tickets for the day and a massive thank you to David Sleigh and his Racing Team for the hospitality shown throughout the day. On arrival at the circuit we were met by David, himself who spent a fair bit of time with us explaining all about his team and sponsors not least Opie Oils.
Had a coffee and met the Sleigh team. We had arrived early and were able to see and hear the 3 old Formula 1 cars from yesteryear being put through their paces with a few laps of the track.
What a noise, was brill

Spent the rest of the morning watching the various races and also the frantic workings of the garages after races in getting the cars ready for the next events.
Had lunch with the Sleigh team before again more racing.
Sleigh team had a great result in the Scottish Mini Cooper Cup race 3 with their driver Mike Courts finishing a great 4th after starting from way down the field.
All in all a great day out and once again thank you to both Opie Oils and the entire David Sleigh Racing Team, a thoroughly Professional Outfit who made the day special.
With all that was going on forget to take photos of the garage but managed a few of the distinctive blue mini coopers of the Sleigh team.
