I'm not sure what your point is
The MSV2 as has been confirmed by BBS SPY on other threads, has the ability to turn your D3 into a paperweight (albeit perhaps temporarily) if you do not follow the instructions such as full back up before use. Matt has bought one and is not using it, because he can't (for whatever reason) , so in effect until he does it is a v expensive paperweight.
I'm not disrespecting the product, far from it, and if i had the money spare i would buy one, i twas just a light hearted comment FFS I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

I wasn't saying you were criticizing, I thought you may have had a problem with one of the products
I totally agree that you should read instructions fully and backup anything that's crucial, but that's the same as everything that's important to you

XX03, never mind shuddering, i almost choked on my drink then
Brumlee, is there some 7K limit, news to me. You know where to report that though,
SJR, i think Matt meant not using his MSV for falsifying the service reminder, other than that i think he might actually be sleeping with it under his pillow for fear someone might steal it off him
I also dont recall ever having said that the MSV-2 could turn a D3 into a paperweight, although it is so enviably powerful and capable, one could be forgiven for thinking it could actually do that too.
Personally though i think you stand as much chance of doing that with an MSV-2 as you would with an Etch a Sketch.
Wow don't that take you back, right up there with the Xylaphone and rubicks cube.
Showing my age now,
Did anyone see the guy that solved that in like 13 seconds or so one handedly.
have to dig out the you tube link.
So i take it we have some contenders waiting and accruing overdue reminders for the very last minute, which is good.

Hmmn a technical question,
Quick guys come up with some techno sounding babblous answer
Ok, seriously i will have a quick recap of the way the SII works,
IIRC the visual reminder function takes precident based on pre set limits for both, therefore if i apply those limits i should hopefully be able to calculate which is the worst in both cases, alternately i could just award one to either and auction the last one to site funds which sounds much easier to me. wadda you guys think ?
Matt, we really do need that bubble wrap back now, have you any idea how much that stuff costs.

Nope sorry Matt, nice try though, all that, you don't use your MSV, Bubble wrapped for when you need it stuff may have others going but i wrote it, so i know just what powerful and capable stuff it really is LOL. and i am the ref in this competition LOL
20 million miles, just dial it in, Billion days, yea, no problem, I already know know you aint using no toy town Etch a Sketch, so sorry, but you are exempt. Mind you if i was giving out one for trying, you would be the current leader LOL.

Back on topic!
Has there been a decision on whether we are submitting in days or miles?
I think I stand a chance with both! but wanted to know which to submit.
My mate serviced mine but didn't bother doing the reset so I am clocking up a good deal of days and miles! Also when is the last entry date? I want to know if should drive to edinburgh and back a few times! D3 HSE MY05 Auto

Ah plenty of time to go up to Edinburgh and back a few times. Better do it on company business though otherwise the cost of fuel will outweigh the cost of buying the service reset tool! D3 HSE MY05 Auto
