Windscreen Plastic Side Covers
Hi All.
Does anyone know how to remove the plastic side covers fitted on the front pillars. I have a slight water leak and I have read on previous posts that there should be seals fitted to the fixings and I want to check before calling Autoglass or LR Taunton.

For an easy "Handsfree" removal .....Try driving down the M90 on the way back from BTCC @ Knockhill a few weeks ago .... very strong crosswind plus doing about 75 and hey presto off she comes . Fortunately the bit that tucks under the bonnet was enough to hold it while I said......... "What the F**k was that !" and did a quick emergency stop on the hard shoulder.Something that doesn't drink diesel and doesn't cost a bloody fortune everytime it needs serviced / fixed. But hey ....I got a deal from the leasing company on my D3 that you guys can only dream about !

my clips came loose by themselves and caused an annoying jingling sound at speed or with a strong crosswind. just had both sides replaced by LR under warranty. Also Gone : MY14 D4 SDV6 HSE : Barolo Black + Almond
Sadly Gone : MY08 D3 TDV6 HSE : Stornoway + Alpaca + Privacy + BAS Remap

Yep - mine have both come off over the last 5 years! Both while on a bit of a storm in high crosswinds.
The problem with the clips is that they can get damaged when you take them off - so might be worth getting a spare set first. I don't think they're too much... Sure TLO can help out.D4 XS MY12 Galway

Thanks Everyone. I removed the trim this afternoon and I broke the bottom clip. So I will replace them all.

this has the latest modified clips inside which have the seals on them as when you remove the trims the clips never reseal properly and the clips should be replacedTLO has left the building.......
