Wintrac Extremes £123 each - good deal?

My D3 will have some snow duties to deal with over the next few months and is currently fitted with Pirelli Scorpions (not the ice and snow version). I've been reading the threads and it seems that the Vredestein Wintrac 4 Xtreme 255/55R19 111V XL are the one to go for?

I doubt the Scorpions will be too great on snow. I've had a good look around and camskill are offering the tyres at £492 for the set inc VAT. Are these the tyres to go for and if so has anyone found a better price. Maybe we could try for a group buy if there was enough interest?

grip wise they are way better than the pirrellies they don't appear to be wearing as quick just waiting for the snow to see if they are as good as they say.

Putting mine back on tomorrow - were good last year.

The price looks good - I paid about this price last year from Micheldever.
