Disco 3: Windscreen wipers are not parking in correct position. Stop in upright position. Otherwise they go through there correct cycle. Any thoughts on what fault could be

Can you move them by hand? If so, I just fixed exactly this problem on wife's 3-series BMW. The nut securing the links to the wiper motor's shaft was not very tight, allowing the links to slip when the wipers hit snow build-up on the bottom of the windshield during the snowstorm we had here.
Had to reposition them by hand and then tighten the nut.
