Ah, but they have an answer for that. Apparently the world is a flat disc with the north pole at the centre and the continents arranged aroiund this. The outer rim of the disc is the Antartic ice field which forms a lip that prevents the oceans from spilling out over the edge Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE and 2013 MY D4 HSE
Previously:

Isn’t it odd how no one has every observed?:
1. How long the Antarctic coastline and it’s territorial waters have conveniently become; many times larger than they’d ever be on a globe.
2. How there’s “the end of the world” where we’ve usually found the South Pole. Incidentally, if the ice wall stops the water falling off, what stops the penguins, or even the atmosphere, from falling off the edge?
At least it all partly explains how we wound up with Trump 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2
2015 - 2017: 2 x D4

That explains why penguins can't fly, if they could they'd fly off the edge but as they can't climb either the ice wall keeps them in.... simples

I liked Orac. In fact, I named our diaster recovery mainframe after him.
Others do keep asking what it means though.....King of the typo.
MY11 D4 5.0 V8, Bournville, lots of goodies!
Now departed: '85 RR Vogue, '94 D1, '95 D1, '70 SIIA, '97 D1, '04 D2a. All V8, except for the SIIA - but that drank as much petrol anyway!
