Wow - Snow capability
Just arrived at Les Arc. That was a trip and a half. Set of at 0000. Arrived at 1800 your time. I drove all the way. The car was amazing. The chalet is down a proper steep snow path. Drove down and up with ease. Needed snow mode though.
So impressed with the car

Skied at Les Arcs last year. Stayed at Arc 2000. We flew to Chambery and got coach transfer. It’s an excellent resort, loads of good runs, and the snow sounds excellent this year.

Aye, we've been there before too and had the last day cancelled due to strong winds. We only booked it on Monday, by which time options were somewhat limited to put it mildly! Expecting horrendous queues next week as the whole of Europe is on half term at the same time due to a very early Easter. I'm heading off tomorrow to try and get a couple of days in in Germany before SWMBO and the little 'un fly out on Saturday. Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE

Off to Les Deux Alps on Friday for us, driving down.
I remember about 4 years ago driving down to La Clusaz (lovely resort)....
Getting up early in the morning to 18" to 2' of snow on the outskirts of Paris and then driving down the remaining 300 Miles on varying amounts of snow all the way up into the resort, only switching over to the snow setting to get to our chalet down a very steep track, and the hill decent was brilliant and my very young nephew (who was with us) thought it was brilliant the car was driving itself.......
No chains used just snow tyres......
We used the D3 all week and it was faultless even when loaded up with 10, I took it up a very icy, very, very steep short cut one night using the snow settings and it went up that without a hint of any issues.
Still the best car i have owned
