XTrons 908T Headrest DVD player

After a poor experience with a Next Base DVD player which hangs on a strap around the headrest, I've decided to look into replacement headrests with DVD players built in.

I've come across these:
http://www.xtrons.co.uk/HEADREST-car-dvd/2...D908T.html

I know there are threads on the HD903 and, to a lesser extent, the HD905 on these forums but I've not seen any mention of the HD908T.

Do the dimensions of 250mm(L)x165mm(W)x210mm(H) work with a Disco 4 2012MY? And the 185mm maximum pole width?

Thanks in advance,
B.

Nice! Where did you connect your power and ground wires? Picking up my LR4 this week and want to install an RSE was thinking of getting the power from the rear socket/cig lighter.

Just found this thread, as I'm looking to find out people's experience of hd908t. Seems good from this thread. I have seen it advertised as bluetooth enabled, is that so? Could my kids use it with bluetooth ear/headphones?

Thank you

Tom

Thanks, but I cannot find mention of Bluetooth connection to ear/headphones in the ROSEN AV7900 documentation? Also it's 4 times the price of the HD908T.

Sorry to reopen an old thread...

I have just got a set of these xtrons 989t headrests. Hope you don't mind me asking how you threaded the wires from the poles successfully down through the seats? It looks impossible! Confused

Grateful for any installation tips.

Welcome to site. Look/feel at the bottom back of the seat the cover has a plastic strip that sits in another plastic channel the two pull apart allowing you to put your hand up inside the back of tge seat cover.

Many thanks! We got our first Disco 4 in 09 and have been following the forum on and off since then. This is the first time I've needed to dip in. I've seen the bar you mention. Looks like a beggar to wrestle out, but here goes...

(Any other tips for the wiring very welcome!) Wink
