I asked a dealer down here in Melbourne, they still do not have Australian 2015MY specs yet.
I am thinking to buy D4 HSE and would love to get this Adaptive Cruise control,

I've been through the "build your own" literally hundreds of times whilst faffing over spec and colour for my 2015MY and haven't seen it! If it's there, could someone please point it out a.s.a.p. as I have a September build? D4 HSE MY2015

I must admit I haven't seen it on any of the documents that I've read and it's not listed on the price list.
Another thing that the document linked to mentions is
Quote:
Customers continue to have the choice of the newer single-speed transfer box or twin-speed, with the latter offering high and low range for the most demanding off-road conditions.
I know I enquired about this because I didn't want the newer single-speed transfer box but was told that it wasn't an option and as far as he was concerned all would have the usual hi/lo transfer box Cheers Ian

According to an official Land Rover press release, it is now possible to order certain features taken from the XXV special edition, including the forged wheels. I would like to add these, but my dealer cannot find the option available.
Quote:
"The XXV Special Edition Discovery built on existing levels of luxury from the HSE derivative. Customers can now bring that added touch of luxury to their Discovery of choice with the option of the distinct Ebony/Cirrus Dual-tone Windsor Leather seats and the Grand Black Lacquer wood and leather-wrapped steering wheel. A new Straight Grained Walnut wood and leather steering wheel also becomes available, with respective wood veneer sets offered as an additional customer option with both steering wheel designs to further enhance the premium feel of the interior.
The exterior can also be enhanced with the addition of the XXV 20-inch 5-split spoke forged alloy wheels with a light silver polished finish, increasing the number of 20-inch wheel styles to four."

The adaptive cruise is an option for the 3.0 V6 supercharged PETROL engine - i.e. not the UK market as I have just discovered, ironically. Tried to spec it on my order just now. Have got the in control apps just to see what all the fuss is about though My17 Volvo XC90 Inscription

Sorry I am rather slow today - but what please is a "single-speed transfer box" ?
I understand the two-speed, but why does one need a transfer box if it is only single speed?

No low box as I understand it, from chatter a while ago.

Hmm doesnt make sense. Either engines should be able to get this.
Btw, any dealers in UK can confirm this?

If this is real, maybe we could mount the adaptative by mounting the hardware and doing some faultmate trick ( i hope only a enabling tick only) it from now after a spftware update or something
