D4 HSE 2010 SDV6

Hi all. I have had a D3 for many years (currently at 235k) then moved to a 2009 L322 tdv8 autobiography (176k) . Now looking to go back to a D4 HSE sdv6 2010. I have been trying to find a list of the standard equipment spec so I can see what bits it should have and if they all work. Anyone have any pointers of where to find the info. Any thing I should look out for?

It’s been a while since I had my MY2010 D4, but going from memory:-

It will be a TDV6 at that age with 6-speed auto.
Electric seats (memory on driver’s side).
Heated seats front and rear.
Harmon Kardon surround sound.
Electric sunroof.
Electric windows and folding door mirrors.
Electric steering column adjust.
Central locking - check that all doors activate as failure wasn’t uncommon.
Auto headlight main beam/dip.
Auto wipers.
Reversing camera.
Front and rear parking sensors.

I’m sure there’s lots more, but……….

Many thanks for the reply. I think that about covers the “essentials”. DAB would be nice too. I have seen one online, the pictures aren’t great but at least I know what I need to check for when I take a look. It states sdv6 with 6 sp auto on a 60 plate. The 8 sp were a little later at the end of 2011 apparently

D4 purchase

I just bought a D4 HSE 2012 with 8 speed (round gear knob) and 3.00 SDV6 and can get much better MPG than old D3 I assume its because of the extra gears? (easy 30 MPG) AND its got DAB with phone connection.

Thanks for the input. My tdv8 l322 only averaged 26 mpg in mixed motoring. I could get low 30’s from my old D3 and it was cheaper tax as was an early 55 plate. Think the D3/4 are far more practical than a RR but I had to try it!
