height calibration issues

height calibration issues

I have a gap iid tool and going through the guided calibration and set the heights as per the guide.

after I set it looks great but then after I drive it, it returns back to the height before I calibrated it.

any ideas ive done it three times now and every time it quickly reverts back

help!!

It’s a while since I did mine, so, a bit rusty I’m afraid……Did you click on ‘Apply’ after ‘sending’ all 4 calibrations to the vehicle ?
 D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. RRS front lower suspension arms. New suspension compressor/ relay. New Denso alternator. CuNifer rear brake pipes. New GKN rear propshaft. New HPFP belt & tensioner. New A/C Condenser.NO WARRANTY for many many years.

I gave up on the guided calibration for the same reason!

In my case, I'm assuming it is a symptom of a faulty height sensor and there is no point in me persevering with the calibration until I replace that sensor. Of course the sensors are held in by completely rusted screws, which need to be taken out with the Dremel, so that task has been added to the list of things to do when the driveway eventually dries out for the summer.

‘93 Defender 110 200TDi CSW - still got this, non-runner on SORN.
‘87 Defender 90 4 cyl Petrol
‘83 110 CSW V8 - best ever!
Range Rover 2-door V8 (not sure of year - 4-speed box and vacuum diff switch)
Series III SWB Diesel
