Nothing changed much except it's now haunted by memories.
Oh, and except mine is now the only Land Rover in the courtyard.

I can't remember what we paid, but at least they didn't charge 'corkage' on the cider and pasties that Stew brought and consumed in their bar

It's Studley Castle, Studley (nr Redditch) and under 30min drive for visits to Solihull.
But it's a good spot for secure parking as it's well out the way of Brummie scum, who nick pieces off your Disco and sell them back to Land Rover.
Rooms are a bit tired, but that and its seclusion are reflected in the keen pricing.
